Have you ever felt like screaming those words? I know at this time of the year many people are feeling stressed, anxious, overworked, abandoned, hopeless and unsatisfied. Some even suffer with severe depression, sickness and major loss.
My prayer list is as long as Santa’s; filled with names of people who are in those exact situations. Serenity now!
Peace or serenity is one thing you can’t buy, you can’t produce it and you can’t give it away either.
You can share your peace with others and usher a sence of peace into their surrounding atmosphere but for them to have true peace they must come to know the One who created peace.
No Jesus - No Peace Know Jesus - Know Peace
I am so thankful that I know Jesus and know His peace. His peace is real and permanent as He can be trusted to keep His Word. His peace surpasses understanding and it will guard our hearts and minds. But to receive and maitain His peace, we must keep our minds steadfast on Him.
SERENITY NOW, can be your permanent mailing address. Seek it. Strive for it. Pursue it daily. Place your prayer list in the hands of Jesus who has all the answers and is still in control.
He has not lost His peace, and He has the ENTIRE world in His hands.
This Christmas, I have made an intentional plan to stay in tuned with the Lord.
Listen to HIm and to seek Him in my every day walk.
To observe where He is at work and to join Him there.
When I feel Him nudgging me to pray intently or move on His behalf, I pray. I move.
I have seen quick and unexplained answers to my prayers for myself and others recently.
I have heard that Christmas is a time for miracles and I am expecting and waiting in anticipation.
We serve a good, good God who wants to be with ust always and wants us to have His peace.
Emmanuel - God with us.
