This is my beautiful daughter who introduced me and helped me to seek a healthier lifestyle. Her picture gave me hope and the encouragement I needed to start my journey into caring for my body.
These pics are from my start day last year in June to about 3-4 months later.
I am not usually a procrastinator however, when it comes to displaying my imperfections in public, well now that’s another story!
However, I thought: it’s time to bare all; well almost all. Others have done it, so I guess I can also. I usually try to hide my abdomen and my flaws but this weekend I was with a group of people who were not afraid to share their imperfect pictures and their stories in order to help others and themselves in the process.
I have increased energy, decreased my weight, feel better and look better too.
I am continuing my plan to maintain good health, decrease my weight, and stress and I have also met a group of people along the way that are an encouragement and an inspiration to me.
I was introduced to some amazing people who worked diligently and
had many obstacles to overcome to achieve their desired goals.
They dedicated themselves to helping others maintain a
healthier life, feel, look and move better as well as
being able to attain their own financial freedom in Isagenix.
It seems like their mantra is “we are stronger together.
The more we usher to the top the better.
Everyone has the same opportunity and
can acquire as much training as their brains can contain.
These individuals are not like some, 6 figure and above, business tycoons,
whose only concern is to get to the top no matter what and to be #1!
Instead, they coach and teach others to attain their own dreams and desires.
They were not showy or puffed up or braggadocio-us.
They are down to earth, caring, helpful, concerned and successful people.
I didn’t feel intimidated or “less than”.
I felt accepted and equal.
I was free to be myself, and express my story, my faith,
and my desires, without judgement.
Thank you to my lunch table friends and others I met.
I have a huge group of blood relatives, that I love dearly; and
a large church family, who has prayed and supported me and
travelled with me on many a rough terrain over the years.
Without them, I don’t know where I would be today.
Now, I have a new association of people that will encourage me
and who make me feel more like family,
than business partners.
I pray that I will grow, healthier, wiser, and live longer with my new family
at my side, as well as encouraging others to do the same.
We are better and stronger together.
