This is my second battle with Covid and it is worse than the first. I’ve been vaccinated and where my mask almost every where I go.
I don’t really care what you call it or if some people believe in it or not, but i do know it is one nasty culprit.
Many people are still mourning over recently lost love ones; while others are experiencing daily reminders of the various lingering side effects to their bodies and or minds.
Covid doesn’t just attack one person or one body part, it penetrates it’s prey and reaches out to others and keeps on going.
I’m thankful I’m not as sick as some have been but right now I feel like this opponent is kicking my butt. It has a way of sneaking up on you when you least expect it. I don’t know who has gifted me with this despicable disease, so I can "thank him/her, (LOL) "or track it down to where it originated. Once I received my covid results, I naturally confined myself. But I’m also concerned about those who I came in contact with before I knew the results. I pray no one else catches it.
Covid is like the devil. He sneaks up on us unaware and zapps our strength, energy and our well being. 1Peter 5:8.
He inflicts us with a much deeper sickness though. It isn’t a disease that just effects our bodies but our spirits and our souls. He attacks in various manners and is shifty and sly. You may not even know, he reared his ugly head in your direction, but you will feel his presence. He can cripple you in a heart beat if you don’t keep your spiritual armor on. Ephesians 6:10-18
It takes more than a mask to keep satan at bay. It takes full body armor and daily diligent, ferverent prayer time. There is no vaccine to keep him away. No cough syrup to keep him from choking the spirit life out of us and no pills to destroy the venomous toxins he infiltrates into your spirit man.
However, a strong dose of the Holy Spirit, an IV of praise and worship, a shot of Christian fellowship, and a daily bible study routine can ward him off though or at least make you aware when he is attacking.
Wish we could detect and prevent covid from infiltrating our bodies as well as we can identify and resist satan when he is on the attack.
Keep your guard and your DO NOT ENTER sign up to deter the enemy of your soul, as well as, the enemies of your flesh.
He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust. Psalm 91;2
