I have a busy and full life but I am always trying to find different avenues to aid others and to bless someone.
I’m not sharing this to boast about what I do but to express how much joy a person can have by aiding and encouraging others.
I have come to realize, that I am happiest when I can serve others. I attempt to reach at least one person a day with an act of kindness or just to deposit a positive light into their atmosphere. I enjoy sharing God’s love, goodness and joy. Since, He has done so much for me. I want everyone I meet to experience a joyful spirit and to find happiness in each day.
Today, I went to the CVS and the pharmacist who waited on me was a little abrupt and had a scowl on her face. At first, I was a little intimidated by her but then I just asked her how her day was going. She had an indecisive look and hesitantly said, "Ive had a headache all day.” I told her I thought something was going on cuz her facial appearance showed it. She smiled and then her face softened.
If we would keep Christ present in every moment of our lives then we can view others in a positive perspective. Whenever we are around someone who is irritating or has a negative attitude we should not focus on their flaws. Instead, look at them as Jesus does and realize they may be hurting. Try to see others as Jesus sees them. I pray daily to be able to bless others and if anyone needs a kind word, smile, compliment or prayers that I would be wiling and ready with Christ to fulfill their need.
My days are better when
I remain in Christ and He in me
and when I’m willing to share Him.
1Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as your are doing.
Smile today, you may encourage someone else to smile also.
Let us always meet each other with a smile
for the smile is the beginning of love.
