"I am of all women most blessed!" My friend Diana used to say that all the time, and I am now claimimg that declaration also, because it is true. I am blessed everyday, in more ways than I can imagine or even know. He never stops blessing me and His blessings are too numerous for me to count. There are so many things God does for me that I will never know about this side of heaven.
I am thankful for my faith, husband, family and friends and all that God gave me and all the experiences He has brought me through.
When I wake up and place my feet on the floor, I thank God that I woke up and that I am able to walk. My thanksgiving continues throughout the day for so many reasons. Being and staying healthy is of utmost importance, for me after having a kidney transplant in 2019. I am so thankful for my donor, Jan and how perfectly my kidney is functioning.
Having all 5 senses operating properly is a wondorous gift that many people take for granted. God is so good to us but some people fail to acknowledge their blessing and don't praise Him for them!
I wonder how many times God kept me from an accident or an injury, or how many times He had me in the right place at the right time and for the right reason. There have been many trials in my life but God has been with me through them all.
In times of affliction, when life's struggles seem to hard to bear and life seems dark, empty and hopeless, that is the best time through your tears and heart ache, to remember and count the many blessings that God has given you. He is the only one who can transform our tragedies into blessings in His time.
I love the old hymn that says, Count your blessings name them one by one. Count your blessing see what God has done. Count your blessings, name them one by one. Count your many blessings see what God has done. No one but God can keep a count of all the blessings He has given each of us in our lifetime.
