He heals the broken hearted...
This serving bowl is from a set of china that was discovered at my mom’s when we had to sell her home. Unfortunately, my perfect 12 serving set of China is no longer complete. It was accidentally broken when I closed the cabinet.
Just like this bowl is unable to fulfill its purpose and is now in the trash; there are many people that are unable to function in the capacity that they were designed to do, because they have also been broken. There is a section of their life that has been damaged; torn apart and missing. An integral element of their being is in need of repair. They have been traumatized in some way and their emotional, mental, and spiritual lives never fully matured as intended.
They may be unable to cope with the stress and demands of everyday life.
Some may not be able to express or experience true love and affection.
Some people become introverts and others become extroverts to conceal their deficiency.
Many people whose lives have been shattered in some way
begin to elevate their own needs and wants above others-“me first syndrome” occurs.
They concentrate on what they think will bring them pleasure and
dedicate time and energy for self satisfaction/healing.
The restoration and healing that is so desperately desired
is so difficult to acquire.
Therapy, counseling, family, friends, and spiritual healing
is the superglue to mend a broken soul.
God is the only one who can put a shattered heart and life back together again.
He is our refuge, our fortress and our strength.
He can bring comfort, peace and unity to those who need His healing hands.
He is the potter and we are the clay.
As we spin on the potters wheel, He can reshape our lives
and mold us into a new creation and fix our broken parts.
We need to be pliable, and let Him.
Psalm 34:18 The Lord is near to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
